RIP Tone, thanks for all of the music you gave us. Those days of hosting WPRB with you always have remained a cherished memory. The show was always something unique and usually a cross between breaking records and a comedy show, and you were such a big part of that. I wish we would have followed through with the reunion, you left us way too early

A terrible loss for the hip-hop community. Tony was a visionary who introduced a lot of us to beat-making, DJing, and sample-hunting. Definitely an unsung hero for the art form. Rest in peace, Tone!

You don’t have to be from Trenton to dig a true hip-hop legend,
i’m from Glasgow, Scotland and was saddened to hear about Tony.
Droppin’ Funky Verses was dope and Tony helped hip-hop get where
it is with so much hard work. We’ll sorely miss him.

I too listened to TONY D on WPRB Radio in princeton. His beats and Dj Skills were great and inspired me to do some things I do today in music..
