It's been a long strange trip over the years from the WPRB days, I fell out of touch with Tony and everyone for a few years. I linked up with Tone last year and he hit me with some beats to shop to Wu, and we talked about doing a Raw Deal reunion....I had planned on going to the Trenton old school show he was involved with, till it got cancelled. I'm sadden by the thought that the reunion I'll be having with eveyone will be at Tony's viewing.
I feel Tony never got the credits he deserved as a producer, for awhile in the 90's, he helped put out a unique sound and opened door for many of the areas underground artists to be heard. So many producers with lesser talent have received so much more fame, I will always look back with fondness to what we tried to do all of those years of the WPRB days of Club Crush and the Raw Deal, and just how much of a legacy it has left with people has always made me happy. I'm glad that I had been a friend of Tony D's for the time I had been, he added much to Hip Hop and was a central part of the show, and I'm sad in the fact that he and the energy he contained are no longer with us.

Good point, rafi. As a member of this side of the media, I should have clarified by specifiying "print media."

Nice job compiling these.. and RIP to Tony D.

Only argument I have is with your first line.. the media coverage has been strong. You just demonstrated that with your list. These sources are the media.
